Exhibited 2024
Kleintheater Luzern
I See Colours reflects moments – each piece springs from a memory, a feeling, a mood.
Creating on large fabric panels is a liberating, physical experience. Often, no brush is used, as painting with hands allows for a playful and intuitive process. Abstraction means absorbing, feeling, remembering, and letting go. The unpredictable outcome is a multilayered composition of colour and movement.
Cut and go – Action
You are invited to actively participate by taking the final step of the creative process yourself: selecting the crop.
Examine the fabric panels closely; perhaps you feel strongly drawn to a particular area, or you especially like a detail. Choose your personal selection, which will then be stretched onto a suitable stretcher frame.
Alternatively, opt to acquire the entire fabric panel.
Everything is possible.
Full canvases
It all starts with big canvases on the floor, approximately 1m wide and 3-4m long.
These paintings were exhibited as a whole, while others were later cut and stretched by the artist.
Stretched canvases
These crops are available for purchase, some including lime wood frames.
